Allergies
Mid-Michigan E.N.T. offers allergy management to adolescent and adult patients. Diagnostic and treatment services blend allergy management with comprehensive management of related ear, nose, and throat diseases such as ear and sinus problems for which allergy management can be a vital component.
Over 25% of Americans suffer from chronic allergies. The most common environmental allergies are those that cause Allergic Rhinitis or "Hay Fever" which include symptoms such as runny nose, sniffling, sneezing, nasal congestion, stuffy nose, postnasal drip, and itchy eyes or nose. These environmental allergens include dust mites, cat and dog dander, molds, and pollen from trees, weeds, and grasses.
Mid-Michigan E.N.T.'s Allergy Clinic offers help to those who are suffering with year-round or seasonal allergy symptoms and who would like comprehensive treatment that reaches beyond over-the-counter medications. An allergy evaluation includes an office visit with one of our 5 board-certified Physicians or two Physician Assistants, a detailed patient allergy history, and environmental allergy skin testing.
We test for over 30 of the most common environmental allergens and provide you with immediate testing results. With this information, an Allergy Immunotherapy treatment can be prescribed that is custom to your specific allergies. We offer weekly subcutaneous immunotherapy injections in our clinic, as well as daily sublingual drops that you administer to yourself in the convenience of your own home. Here at Mid-Michigan E.N.T, we want you to live your best life, free of your worst allergy symptoms. Please contact us to set up an appointment and begin the process of better managing your allergies!
For your convenience, we offer allergy injections Monday- Friday on a walk-in basis, without the need or hassle of a weekly injection appointment.
